Spring

There was a big fat robin in our front yard tonight. I took the opportunity to talk to Jenna about Spring.

Mommy: "I bet that robin is trying to find sticks to build her nest. Do you know what she will do after she builds her nest, Jenna?"

Jenna: "I don't know."

Mommy: "She'll lay her eggs in the nest. Do you know what happens next?"

Jenna: "They hatch!"

Mommy: "That's right! Then what happens?"

Jenna: "SHE EATS THEM!!!!!"


Perhaps I tried this little lesson too close to Easter Egg time...
