She's catching on...

When we are lucky enough to have Daddy home in the evening (he works second shift), he is always in charge of bath time for Jenna. It's an activity, like many of her others, that follows a wonderful routine. He always asks the same question before it begins. I figured out tonight that she is catching on to the routine. Here is how the conversation used to go:

Daddy: "Hey Jenna, are you ready for a tubby? Jenna? Jenna, look at me. Jenna, come back here. Jenna, are you ready for a tubby?"

Jenna: (eventually understands and meanders to the bathroom door)

*-*-*-*-

Here is how it went tonight:

Daddy: "Hey Jenna"

Jenna: "Tubby? Okay!" (running like a gazelle to the bathroom door yelling "okay! okay!" the entire time)

Although I wasn't actually present, there were squeals and several loud, fake sneezes coming from the bathroom tonight. By the sounds of it, they had their usual blast. That is part of the routine as well. : )
