I am the Mommy. Jenna is 5 years old and just became a big sister in December. Kaitlyn joined our family in a blizzard. A sign of things to come with her? I am married to a wonderful man who has brought to my life an energetic and very smart step-daughter named Kyleah. When I'm not trying to be the best Mommy and wife I can be, I'm a 911 dispatcher for a local police department. A grand adventure is what I was promised when I met my husband...a grand adventure is what it's become.
I took Jenna to my new hairdresser today for some help. Jenna needed a little trim and Mommy needed some advice on how to handle all the curls while minimizing the frizz. She had never had her hair cut before - at least by someone who knew what she was doing. She was so good, sat very still, and loves her "beautiful haircut".

Good job, Jenna! Although a day at the salon is next going to turn into a day at the spa. When it turns into that, can I come?
Oh my gosh! She looks so grown up! Her hair does look beautiful :)
