Enjoying the season through her
Jenna is amazed at the snow and the Christmas decorations she sees so frequently now. She loves the "Kissis Twee" that Mom and Dad just put up and constantly asks if she can touch it. So far, Mom says she has been really good with it. (We'll put ours up on Monday I hope.) We pass by one business who has their shrubs and trees lit with beautiful white sparkly lights and every time we pass, Jenna says "piddy fowders" (i.e. pretty flowers). Then she sniffs the air and says "mmmmmm". (Because pretty flowers always smell good!)
Snow is still a magical mystery to her. We had a couple of inches of snow recently and every time she'd look outside, she'd exclaim "Snow! Oh my!". She'd rush to another window and say "More Snow! Oh My!" with her little hands over her mouth. She is, though, apprehensive to touch it. She will say "touch snow?", but to do so is a little weird for her. Unfortunately, after it snowed it got bitterly cold here, so any outside snow fun has been squashed.
